Melacca trip

09.11.27 Friday...

Is holiday of Raya Haji... When to Melacca for 2days 1night trip with my colleague and Jeremy... 6of us drive 2cars down to Melacca...

1st stop...

Quite smooth drive, we reach Seremban around 9:30am... This shop is recommend by Simon, siew pau here really nice, inside very juicy ...

Direction: Dive all the way in Seremban town > Pasar besar (left) > KFC (right) > turn right on the KFC > go stright in got a Food court in front > straight to the end > The shop is at the conner of the end of road  just opposite Restaurant Yee Poh...

 

This shop is just opposite Siew pow master...  Restaurant Yi Poh... Eat here because we saw a lot of people, got people Q means nice lor...  Hor Chak of Astro been here also... The pork ball really nice, the so call "lou shu fun" is asam laksa mee.... Taste not bad lar.... Wanton mee ok ok only...

Me and JJ share a small bowl of "Lou shu fun", cause we ate the fresh "siew pau".. The rest of them share one big bowl "lou shu fun and wanton mee, but end up cant finish ... hahaha.....

Tell you guys what... Girls right really like to buy things one... eat "lou shu fun" also can buy so many bags of fruit ....

12:15pm we reach to Melacca...

This is the most people after so many time i visit Melacca.... The famous chicken rice shop was Q-ing like mad.... Seriously, is not worth to Q la.... the waiter was so LCLY, 2person have to order 1/2 chicken, or 1 whole chicken for more then 3person... The chicken came out like simply cut into a plate only....

Direction: Go all the way into town, pass by all the rumah merah > Christ church > infront the church there's a wind mill > turn right at the wind mill > the shop is just the conner of the bridge...

I recommend u guys go to the shop next to the "sam sok kong" the shop call "wo kei" (cantonese), this one is so much nicer even though we eat 3hours later with take away... (This is recommend by my Melacca's friend)

After the chicken rice we walk around the jonker street.... And having Jeremy favorite cendol....

Childhood sweet... we call it "Ting ting tong"... i perfer the orginal one... this is not sweet at all....

This cendol shop is very famous one leh... Dont mix up with others yo... From the jonker street, go all the way in about 10-15mins walk... then u will reach, just on your right hand side...

Seeeeee... i so good, purposely go and buy the gula melacca for Jeremy... for him to add as much as he want, even though is not good for health... RM5 only ...

This photo is taken inside one of the famous nyoya restaurant (next row behind of jonker street)... I ate before food quite nice, but this time we just take photo and recommend to my friends... May be they all will visit next time... hehe...

Melacca consider a china town also i think... cause got a lot of chinese association...

Walk until around 3:30pm only we headed to Mahkota Hotel.... 2bedroom apartment, nice to stay... Due to some arrangement problem, we ask the hotel compensate us the Karaok for 1hour... Is a VIP room;sound system quite good, its just smelly in the room...

Sing until 7:30pm, we go eat our satay celuk... Firstly we go to this Capitol satay, but hor.... a lot of people Q-ing leh.... Its look like need another 2hours to get a table.... no choose, change location...

Direction: From the Equatarial Hotel (left hand side) > take the 1st left turning after Equatarial Hotel, got sign board show headed to Jonker street one... > go straight, TM net on right hand side > turn right after TM net > split road in-front, keep right turn right > Reach the destination ... Capitol on your left hand side...

So we headed to another similar one, which i normally go... Ban Lee Siang Satay celuk @ jalan Ong Kim Wee... A melaccan uncle told me, Capitol got more choose, but the gravy of Ban Lee Siang is better... 7 of us eat 137 sticks, just need to pay RM95.. Quite resonable price i think...

of cause both of us not eating this only... we eaten double tray of this haha....

We continue drink at the Jetty... got nice view there... Drink in the middle of sea...

09.11.28 Saturday...

2nd days in Melacca

We go Pasir Ujong for our breakfast... Its recommend by my colleague say the curry laksa and the nyoya kuih is nice.... All is the foods is good, beside the curry mee only... Dont know why they serve us in Meggi mee... was so disappointed...

Mee Siam ... taste good..

Fried Mee hoon with Kerang...

Meggi Mee with seafood.... taste ok la... but is meggi mee...

After breakfast we go back to Jonker street again .... go visit some other historical place...

This is Pandan kaya kuih in fish physical.... So call Pandan nyoya kuih, brought from "Sam Sok Kong"... RM 7.50, got 6pcs... Not so nice...

After "Sam Sok Kong" was rainning very heavyly, so we ended our Melacca trip and drive to Seremban...

1st stop in Seremban was the Empirer Siew Paw at exit 218 Seremban 2, we go and buy the fresh prawn only...

2nd stop was the Seremban BBQ crab @ Jalan Lobak Seremban ... All of us was so tired until don't really like eating liow...

But still we order few dishes....

This is BBQ crab sauce, very special... taste good...

Fried Sotong..

About 4:00pm... finish our lunch and back to Kuala Lumpur lur....
Very tired... cause we when 4th round jonker street
1st round- jalan-jalan and eat the cendol.
2nd round- jalan-jalan again, its just the day and night different only...
3th round- we jogging in the morning from hotel to jonker... just 15mins walk can reach jonker already...
4th round- cause we still near by after visit those history building, they wanted to buy some Malacca sovenir...
I walk more then any other days in this 2days... Somemore Q-ing every where leh, really a lot of tourist....
I think the worst is my stomach, need to detox after this(eat non-stop)... hahahaa.....
